Samuel A. Gates
Attorney
Attorney Gates graduated from Spring Grove, H.S. in 1978, Florida State University in 1982 with a Mathematics/Computer Science degree and a juris doctorate degree in
1991 from Dickinson School of Law, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Between college and law school Attorney Gates served as navigator in the U.S. Air Force.
Formerly a trial attorney with over 30 years of general practice experience, including family law, criminal law and civil litigation, Attorney Gates now concentrates his practice on transactional matters, including real estate, contracts, estate planning and administration. Attorney Gates also provides legal counsel in a variety of legal matters drawing upon his general practice experience.
Gregory Hollinger

Attorney Hollinger grew up in Hershey, Pa. and is a graduate of the Harrisburg Academy and graduated from Temple University in 1991 with a degree in Criminal Justice and Philosophy. Attorney Hollinger received his juris doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law, Harrisburg in 1995.
Attorney Hollinger concentrates his practice on family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support. Attorney Hollinger also handles Summary and Misdemeanor criminal defense matters.
Rachel L. Gates

Attorney Rachel L. Gates is a 2003 graduate of Delone Catholic High School and graduated from Appalachian State University in 2007 with a Political Science degree.Attorney Gates earned her juris doctorate degree from the University of Baltimore Law School in 2010.
For the first 10 years of Attorney Gates’ practice, she handled a wide variety of general practice matters, including all aspects of family law, criminal law and estate practice. Attorney Gates now concentrates her practice exclusively to Estate planning and administration.

Samuel K. Gates started his York law practice in 1971 and opened the Hanover office as a satellite office in the mid 1980s. Samuel A. Gates joined his father in the Hanover office in 1991. Samuel K. Gates retired in 2002 after 30 years of practice. Rachel L. Gates joined her father and grandfather’s firm in 2010. Father and daughter continue to practice law together along with Gregory L. Hollinger, who joined the firm in 2005. The firm handles client matters in both York & Adams Counties.
